It is the new, exclusive color technology of LG QNED evo 2025 TVs, replacing the traditional use of quantum dots (nanoparticles) and promises realistic, dynamic and accurate colors, regardless of the level of ambient light. The technology has received 100% Color Volume certification for the DCI-P3 standard from Intertek, ensuring that every color remains vivid and accurate even at high brightness.

By analyzing content in real time, AI Picture Pro analyzes, adjusts and optimizes each scene to make the image more natural and detailed, while enhancing the sharpness of hair, skin, leaves, fabrics and other small elements that are usually lost. With Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro, it divides the image into multiple zones and adjusts brightness/contrast locally for more realistic highlights, deeper blacks and dynamic HDR, while with AI Super Upscaling it takes lower resolution sources (e.g. HD, FHD) and upgrades them to 4K or 8K, adding detail with AI.

MiniLED with Advanced Local Dimming significantly improves contrast, brightness and color accuracy compared to classic LEDs as it uses thousands of tiny LEDs (much smaller than classic ones) that give much more precise control over brightness and stops. In addition, with Advanced Local Dimming the screen is divided into many lighting zones (dimming zones) and the brightness is dynamically adjusted in each zone separately. Thus, in dark areas it reduces the backlight for deeper black, while in bright areas it increases the lighting for brighter highlights, thus avoiding “blooming” (bright halo around white objects on a dark background).
