Wine Aging Cellar Features

The APOGEE255 wine aging cellar allows you to store up to 254 bottles of Bordeaux 75cl. It exactly replicates the storage conditions of a natural cellar to bring your wines to their peak in complete safety and under the best conditions.

• Controlled humidity: The humidity level in a wine cellar should be between 50% and 80%. If the humidity is too low, the cork may dry out, allowing oxygen to come into contact with the wine. If it is too high, it will damage the aesthetics of your bottles by peeling their labels and may promote the growth of mold. To ensure precise temperature control in your cellar, the APOGEE255 generates regular cooling cycles. Combined with the thermodynamic operation of the evaporator, they help maintain the ideal humidity level within the wine cellar.

• Absence of vibrations: Repeated vibrations, even of low intensity, disrupt the maturation of the wine: they accelerate the aging of younger wines and detach sediments from older wines, damaging them irreversibly. Thanks to its Silent Block technology, the APOGEE255 generates no vibrations and operates quietly.

• Low-e-glass: The glass door safely displays your wines. The low-E glass filter protects the bottles from UV rays and reduces heat and cold exchanges between the interior of the cabinet and its external environment, resulting in real energy savings.

• Filtration and ventilation system: In a confined space, wine can absorb undesirable flavors. Without ventilation, mold and bacteria can develop, altering the tightness of the corks and the taste of your wine. It is essential to store your wines in a healthy environment. Equipped with an air intake and an active charcoal filter, the APOGEE255 allows for continuous air renewal, neutralizing bad odors and preventing the proliferation of bacteria and mold.

• Constant temperature: To prevent the aging process from being disturbed, wine must age in an environment with stable and constant temperature. The APOGEE255 aging cellar allows you to store your fine wines in a healthy environment at the temperature of your choice (adjustable between 5°C and 20°C).

Highlight your fine wines

Illuminate your bottles with its integrated lighting system under the shelves. This system allows you to light up your entire wine cellar. Store up to 254 bottles on its 6 wooden, removable, multi-format shelves, specially designed to hold various bottle types (Alsace, Burgundy, Champagne) and adapt to your needs (4 shelves in vertical position + 2 shelves in horizontal position).

Remote control of your wine cellar settings

Temperature

Easily adjust the internal temperature of your wine cellar through the digital control panel. Not at home? Simply open the Vinotag app to remotely adjust the internal temperature of your wine cellar. Temperature is adjustable between 5°C and 20°C.

Lighting

Adjust the internal lighting of your wine cellar from your smartphone. Door, Automatic, or Permanent, you decide the lighting mode that suits your needs.

• Door Mode: The lighting turns on and off automatically when the door is opened and closed.

• Automatic Mode: The light turns on when the door opens and turns off automatically after 15 minutes.

• Permanent Mode: The light turns on or off only on command by pressing the lighting button (light bulb icon) on the control panel or using the switch in your VINOTAG® app.

Alarms

Stay alerted to the operational conditions of the device requiring your attention, at any time.
